Sub Zero Insulated Titanium Mugs are manufactured from two hydroformed shells that are welded together. It is the air gap between these inner and outer titanium shells that helps to keep the contents warm, as stationary air is a poor conductor of heat. The HDPE plastic lid also insulates against heat loss through limiting convection.
The low profile lip weld on the 0.5mm thick titanium skin has an internal rolling chamfer for ease of drinking, and the base of the mugs are flat bottomed for extra stability. The titanium wire handles fold flat against the mug body to aide packing, whilst the push-fit lid has a silicon seal and drinking hole twist cover.
The 600ml version of the titanium insulated mug is one of the largest on the market, and will keep the contents warm for over an hour, making it ideal for camping and hiking.
*Please note: This mug is not designed to be used on a stove or open fire.
